IND vs ENG 2nd T20

Despite Kohli ,Raina and Dhoni burstout India lost the second T20 to adventurous bowling of India trying everything to concede runs.
Alex Hales Increase his bid price in IPL. and many Indians decreased their own.
It ends a magnificient tour of England they will meet India again on 11th January for the five ODI series.
Now BCCI have some serious management issues to handle.

Player of the week; Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj singh won India 3 world cups

U19 in 2000
T20 in 2007
and
ODI in 2011

In all the tournaments yuvi won the man of the series.

A great warrior with a never die attitude.

After the humiliation by Englishmen in test series, India's last chance to give crazy Indian fans some thing to cheer about.
But this was also looking a far away thing with the (as always) Inexperienced and ineffective and both the openers cashing runs in every over, then came the fabulous spells of Yuvraj which kept every English player guessing. He surely turned the tempo of both the games which earned him man of the match in the first over.

Though India lost the second its good to see yuvraj return..

Player of the Week

Early morning bowler had a dream of fighting against Hulk Magneto and Mogambo all at once.
And next entire day he has to face Kevin Pieterson.definitely bowler will curse the statement "dreams do come true".
Truly, is there any bowler's opinion in contest with Peiterson ? You
cannot bowl bouncer to him,he can sweep easily.
With his high down the pitch reach, .he can turn any spinner's
amazement gaze toward boundary rope.and at top his ability to switch shot..surely he is muhammad Ali of cricket...

Having an average of 55.5 in current series with one century and two fifties, he is a key component to demolish indian spinner on indian tracks. Due his crucial fast paced century in mumbai , england was able to level the series and can have dream of wining the series in india
after 28 years.

He was cordial in t20 winning england team in 2010.and in 1st back to back ashes series win in 2009 and 2011.

With an average of 49.56, 41.84 and 37.93 in test ,ODI and T2
respectively. pieterson will be crucial and integral factor in
current tour and also in future of english cricket team.
Fans await for many more knocks from this gentleman ...!!!

4th Test Nagpur

England:
There is a back injury to Finn so they will go with Bresnan. Rest of the team will be unchanged for England. Cook is as always calm and keeping things simple.

India:
MS Dhoni says that its a rough patch for team but the dressing room environment is all fine. A lot of Probabilities for Indian playing 11, Rahane OR Jadeja and Chawla OR Awana But the team needs to show charecter in this match.

Sailor always Sinks with the Ship

It's known from ages that win of any army is only possible if they are led by a soldier who is capable of making Strategies and fighting against the opposition "with" his army till he win the battle. History has seen many such warriors.
Every team game needs such a sailor to sail their team to the banks of victory cauz just playing is not enough you have to win. Cricket has many books of rules and they are adding up year by year, So in such a format, role of a captain becomes crucial. Cricket has seen many great Captains but the topic in oven is of change of captains.
Recently the switching of leadership is much more flexible for most of the countries, Like Mathews will be the 4th Sri Lankan captaince in last two years. England Introduced 3 different captains for different formats and that really uplifted their game as a team. Brand new austrailian team after undergoing many changes Looks dominant on any opposition specially because their captain scoring runs like riverflow. Bangladeshi known as underdogs has also found a responsible captain in young mushfiqurahim which is clear from their ODI win against West indies.

All these example shows the vision of teams to look for the players capable of leading the team in future. Its actually rule of nature every autumn old leaves of a tree falls and new ones take their place, similarly if a Cricket board wants their country's team to stay on top of the world its Important not only to nurture the present talent available, and also to find new players to replace the retired ones, But all of this was not done with the Indian team.

Consider Dravid, Laxman Sachin making one of the greatest batting lineup of all times along with Kumble and Zaheer making the opposition fearful of the sub-continent tour. Now one fine morning you realize that all of them are gone and team is left for talented but inexperienced players.

Test cricket is what needs something more than just beautiful drives and frontfoot defense. Its about concentration patiance and like Bradman put it play every ball like its your first. Bowling good line and lengths and making Batsmen to push at it. Its all to be learnt while playing and being on the pitch with your mentor and learning it ball by ball.

Latest controversy is the Resistance of BCCI to change their most successful captain MS Dhoni. When selectors wanted to stepdown Dhoni from all his powers to control Cricket India. All the senior Indian players are asking for change of Captain after two successive defeats in home conditions. It may be because of their feeling that Dhoni can't just handle pressure situation and leave everything to the opposition so if they make some mistake we can hope some reward. This overdefensive captaincy may be good in shorter format of the game where you can bounce back with a couple of overs in your favour but in five day cricket you need to bat for two days and then send some firing spells from your best bowlers with attacking field placement.

With the current situation of the team where most of the players are either to retire or have not cemented their place well enough to play every match of India, So the only candidate left after MSD is Gautam Gambhir.  He has shown some fight in last two test but not enough to win India either of them, The two run outs of Sehwag and Pujara with Gambhir on the safe side also punches against him.  Inside NEWS of a websites tells that MSD have filed a complaint regarding Gambhir's Onfield "Attitude" which is highly against the teams Interest. Gambhir have waited so long to be named as ODI vice-captain, But this also goes to shining Virat Kohli who is yet to prove himself amongst the new lot of talent in last 5 years.

Nagpur test decide so much of destiny of New Era In Cricket after the legendary retirements. Its time for youngsters to make a team which is respectable enough to tour Australia and Draw a Test series there. Everyone knows that Indian team is undergoing a reformation phase and it will take minimum of 2 years, But BCCI first has to take Tough decisions, or announce their  Autocracy.

plz forgive any mistakes and help me Improve this Blog by your suggestions

Split Captaincy and Change of Coach

Many senior players suggesting Split Captaincy to reduce burden from Dhoni, Virat Kohli for ODI's and Gambhir for tests are the available options. split captaincy became a good technique after it's implementation on most successful teams like England and South Africa.

After the fall of team India in last 16 months, Indian team really need a passionate Coach. And who can be better than Saurav Ganguly who have uplift the game of India in last decade,

He knows Cricket India better and Indian players than anyone else.
Dada have told many times that he is open to Coach, But now it's time for BCCI to make the right call...

Delhi boy gets the Test cap

(c) AFP

Another young lad from Delhi making it to national Test team. Only a handful of people knew about Awana before IPL 2012. In last IPL he was an integral part of slightly weak King's IX Panjab.
But his presence gave them some help.

He has got a nice rhythmic action of a medium pacer, He can move the bowl both ways, But specially those good length deliveries which nip away after pitching are the best ones to watch. His ability to take early wickets may help the Indians most with most of the Indian bowlers going clueless on the sub-continent flat decks.

He has got a good domestic season wth 31 wickets in 7 matches with 3 , five wicket hauls.
Only time would tell that he will stay in the team or get lost in the nets with plenty of seam bowlers like RP Singh, Praveen kumar, Sreesanth, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aron, L Balaji and many more.....

Player of the week

“It's unfortunate for Vaughan to be injured but a great opportunity for me and I will make the most of it.” Alastair Cook quote

Aastair Cook might not have speculated that faith in statement quoted in 2005 ,will bring him from a starting
as cover to injured M. Vaughan to a landmark in career as becoming youngest player to score 7000 runs in test cricket. If it is not right time to accolade A.Cook ,then there must be insufficiency in judgment.
Many tags will be attached him in recent as captain leading from front or calm head.
Not only his natural talent and hunger for runs brought him in glamor but his continuous volition toward gradual improvement for an example as overcoming his natural inclination of putting his foot down the line of the delivery before it turns .scoring at an average of 127.66 for 36 hours during ashes 2011 seirs brought him in limelight.
focusing on current series, he is top of leading scorer table by hitting 548 runs at an average 109.6 in three matches.whole famous Indian batting arsenal struggled to score at eden garden, cook was as smoothly as he was playing against football.and Indian bowling might have dropped hope to plan a futile strategy against him for upcoming matches.
Cook is complete test player with water tight techniques .this can be substantiated by his superb records of his runs and his record of hitting only 9 sixes in whole test career and out of them 6 are from last summer.
another glorifying event attached his profile as becoming 1st Englishman to score 23 centuries in Test cricket.
his bizarre run out in 1st inning (3rd test match) is also his debut run out in test career...
truly , his patience and diligence stand out him as man in boys...!!!

I think  Indians don't need to change their complete team, If they move Captaincy to Gambhir or some other player, Dhoni can play his natural game and the extra defensive technique of MSD could be avoided. Along with this a new can captain will give reform to Indian team which it need desperately..

4Th days Report : Kolkata test 2012

If conducted a poll about the thrill of t20 and test games, surely many will vote for the shorter format but just today Eden Garden witnessed that how rapidly a test match can go against expectations. After a long wait of 3 bad days Indian camp must be having some hopes to save the match. After dismissing tail in 14 runs and scoring 86 runs without any loss of wicket. Most important that if you pr
edict that Sehvag kept going at this rate Indi "would" HAVE scored 450 run till 4th day's stumps.

But how remarkably English trio of Finn, Swann and Anderson turned the table really shows the cricketing spirit and their confidence after Mumbai test. Those 17 overs of English attack after the lunch was enough to break nerves of Indian batsmen.

After a having a Joyful Tea It was a regular job to dismiss the tail and beat India by an Innings. But Ashwin stood tall with a calm head on his shoulder . He displayed the Class of a frontline batsmen and made important contribution with his 83 runs including 13 fours. Ishant Sharma also surprised by surviving more than 50 balls which the great Indian middle order failed to do.

At the end of the day its just a delay in English victory, And Indians really need some magic to make the series 2-2 or 2-1.

Cauz watching the Indian lineup collapse in two successive test ,It seems the problem is not with the technique but of Mindset.

Player Of The Week

what if you tops in class, school refuse to upgrade you with a reason that there no vacancy....
and again you tops in class with late promotion ...school takes same stand...
most of human give up with blame that "faltu system hai" but some persistent bugs don't listen and work assiduously to leave mark on every stage...
with our debut article for column "player of week "..we here take a privileg

e to exalt a debutant in test cricket ....from a land of waka waka dance mr.Francois "Faf" du Plessis aka faf

born on 13 July 1984 in South Africa. In first class cricket , he plays along with talented AB de villiers.
playing in county cricket for Lancashire club for two years and earned respect in English media as emerging player and famous for electric fielding .he joined Chennai super kings, and an injury to mike hussey created opportunity for faf to make debut in ipl and won Indian hearts and attracted attention with average of 33.00 for 13 matches .

and yet another injury this time to J P Duminy created path for FAF to debut in Test cricket ....
and once again he nailed opportunity by scoring 78 in 159 balls ...
but second inning he entered field in adverse condition with south Africa at 44/5 and south Africa had to play entire day and a half for saving match and glorious 1st in test cricket ...
Australia showing fierce and habitual vigorous attack...
and his marathon inning of 110 n.o in 376 balls and standing for 466 min with steady and calm head...
if 15 year flamboyant kid read it ,he will definitely stamps as boring inning ...
but anyone fan of test cricket ..would respect him for act of courage and character ....
that test also got performance from peter siddle and also from AB de villiers( 33 from balls without "boundary") and class act managed from Jacques Kallis even in injury...
but man of match was honored to duplessis for his total 188 in match and for resilient performance in 2nd inning ...
and with current news from latest match between aussies and proties (last match of series) he scored 78 n.o(142 balls) in whole team's performance of 225 all out in first inning ....
kudos FAF and we expect more such brilliance...!!!!

Preview Kolkata Test 2012

Tommorrow ends the patiance of crores of Indian fans for the third testbetwen India and England. It is a test which holds emotional value for both the teams. What happened in last 7 days has given thirsty Indian media a cup of petrol to fire BCCI, eden curator, and MSD’s tail. Though cricket fans were busy watching South Africa earn the 1st position in ICC test ranking.

India

After losing by 10 wickets to England in the second test, All plans of skipper went horribly

wrong. Indians considering spin track as their speciality fell in to their own trap. If talked about the playing 11 Indians going unchanged, expect a lot from ODI stars Kohli and Yuvraj some consistant batting. Though Pujara and Ojha proved their long run in team India and Gambhir’s fight in 2nd innings may give India some hope,Indians are still under pressure.

Overall its a star packed team wich need to perform to gain some respect ahead of facing Pakistan.

England

Captain Cook leading from the front in both the tests got support of Peterson, Panesar and Swan in the second test and left lot of Indian jaws open. Win in Mumbai meant announcement of their ability to handle spin attack and they are no more afraid of Sub-Continental conditions. If they go 2-1 up in te series ........ It’s difficult but may happen.
Series is square with 1-1. As I am an typical Indian fan I expect Dhoni to win the toss and then a triple century from Sehwag and he complets his 100 test sixes, But Cricket is a funny game ...

Hope we enjoy these four days and celebrates the fifth.

What Team India need to do?

Doesn't matter what critics say?
